Actor Karthi's upcoming movie Viruman which will see him reunite with his Komban director Muthaiya, went on floors with an official pooja ceremony today. Viruman is produced by Suriya's 2D Entertainment and director Shankar's daughter Aditi is making her movie debut as the film's female lead.

They were all present at the event along with director Bala who is also doing a separate film with Suriya and 2D Entertainment. 

Touted to be rural entertainer, Viruman has Yuvan Shankar Raja for music and plans to release in Summer, 2022.
