A year since the first trailer of DC's upcoming Batman movie was unveiled, Warner Bros. India has dropped the Tamil version of The Batman's trailer. Starring Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne and the titular character, the video does not reveal much except the film's cast list that includes Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman aka Selina Kyle, Paul Dano as the main antagonist 'The Riddler' and Colin Farell as the notorious Batman villain Penguin. 

The Batman is directed by War for the Planet Of The Apes fame Matt Reeves and also stars Jeffrey Wright as commissioner Jim Gordon, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Peter Sarsgaard as district attorney Gil Colson, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone and Barry Keoghan as officer Stanley Merkel.

The film is touted to be more of a detective version of Batman rather than a super-hero version, set around a cat and mouse game the Riddler plays with Gotham city's Commissioner and the caped crusader. The Batman is scheduled to release in theaters in 2022 (March 4, 2022 in the US).
