In view of the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic, lockdown in Tamil Nadu has been extended till June 28, 2021 but relaxations with respect to TV and film shootings have come into place. As per the order by the Tamil Nadu government, cinema and TV serial shooting can commence with a maximum of 100 people. 

All 100 crew members will need to undergo Covid-19 testing before joining the sets. The government has also allowed post production activities to resume while allowing movie theatres to do maintenance and cleaning activities once a week, after getting the relevant permissions.
