Maanaadu starring Silambarasan TR in the lead is currently gearing up for its first single release on Ramzan day i.e. May 14, 2021. Interestingly, the movie is said to be featuring only one song during its run-time and this number will be a festive-mood track from Yuvan Shankar Raja.

90% of Maanaadu shooting is complete and as reported by MovieCrow recently, the film is currently in post-production. Director Venkat Prabhu and team are waiting to shoot an airport sequence in the Maldives, for which they have already completed the recce. 

An action thriller, Maanaadu is produced by Suresh Kamatchi and also stars Kalyani Priyadarshan, S.J. Suryah, Bharathi Raja, S.A. Chandrasekhar among others.
