Disney Plus Hotstar's popular Marvel series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (TFATWAS) has come to an end and viewers got to see Falcon star Antony Mackie as Captain America for the first time. Marking the series end, it has been revealed that that Malcolm Spellman, creator of TFATWS will write for a new untitled Marvel movie which will be Captain America 4.

Antony Mackie will play lead in Captain America 4 and TFATWS staff writer Dalan Musson will co-write the movie. This movie will be separate from the highly anticipated return of actor Chris Evans as Steve Rogers (previous Captain America) to the MCU. 

Story-wise Avengers: Endgame showed that Evans' character traveled back through time to live out his life with his long-lost love Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) and he returns as an old man to pass his shield to Mackie's previous avatar Falcon. So Evan's return to MCU is expected to be more of a feature than a headline for a movie.
