Music composer A.R. Rahman seems to be on a signing spree for after announcing his project with Gautham Menon and Silambarasan TR, the Grammy winning musician has revealed to be a part of Pippa as well. Based on the India-Pakistan war of 1971 which resulted in the formation of a country named Bangladesh, Pippa stars Bollywood actor Ishaan Khatter in the lead.

Rahman had scored for Ishaan's debut film Beyond the Clouds in 2017 and this is his second time composing for the three film old. Pippa is based on the book The Burning Chaffees, written by Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta whom Ishaan will portray in the movie.

Produced by Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP and Siddharth Roy Kapur’s Roy Kapur Films, the film will be directed by Raja Krishna Menon and also star Mrunal Thakur and Priyanshu Painyuli among others.
