Previously we had reported that the expected release date of Vijay's upcoming movie Master is on the second Wednesday of next year i.e. January 13, 2021. Now, it seems like this release date may be final, though an official announcement has still not been made.

If true Master has a full theater-walk-in advantage as the weekend is preceded by the Pongal holiday that week.
Certified U/A, Master directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj is also releasing in Telugu with the same title and in Hindi as Vijay The Master. The film is touted to be an action thriller and has Anirudh for music.
