Over the last few days, a video revealing the connection between the famous James Bond theme music and an Indian classical number has been going viral on Facebook and while even in 2020 it is making heads turn, the origin story first caught the attention of pop culture enthusiasts roughly three years ago.
Interestingly actor Ajith was behind making the story popular in India. It all started when BBC's The One Show had unearthed about how the famous James Bond theme was composed based on a tune from an 1950s musical. The original song was called Good Sign, Bad Sign and consists of an Indian man singing about his magic sneeze.
The world famous James Bond tune has an Indian classical music connection!! The composer tells the story himself !!! Interesting!!!!!!!!!

The discovery was a huge shock for the 007 fandom worldwide because very few knew about the connection between John Barry's theme music and Monty Norman's composition for the musical which was based on VS Naipaul’s novel, A House For Mr Biswas.
It eventually made noise in India when Bollywood actor Atul Kulkarnai, who at that time was acting in a movie with Ajith received the video from the 'Thala' actor himself. He made sure to let his fellow Indians know of this mind-blowing connection through a Facebook post of his own.
