Master, which will see Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi share screen-space for the first time is one of the highly awaited movies of Tamil cinema. Recently, Vijay Sethupathi spoke about the Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial while promoting one of his other films and spoke about his character of a ruthless gangster, his combo with Vijay and the movie in itself. 

"Everyone has dirt within them..When one acts as a villain, there is a way of bringing that dirt out..I play a ruthless gangster only but I have played it thoroughly enjoying it. There will be a certain expectation when a Vijay Sethupathi acts in a movie along side Vijay; Master satisfies that expectation to the fullest. It has come out very well. Master will be a masterpiece..."

Touted to be an action-thriller, Master also stars Malavika Mohanan, Arjun Das, Andreah, Shanthanu, Nassar among others in pivotal roles. The film has music by Anirudh, Sathyan Sooryan for cinematography and Philomin Raj for the edits.
