The duo of Simbu (STR) and Kamal Haasan sharing screen-space together is something that has been buzzed in the recent past with films like Indian 2 and Aval Appadi Thaan remake. However, nothing concrete ever came out of it and now once again it is being said that the two might end up coming together for Sigappu Rojakkal 2. 

Sigappu Rojakkal 2 was originally announced with a different hero by director Manoj Bharathiraja but seems like now he intends to revive his father's famous film with a different cast. An official confirmation on the same is however awaited.
