The trend involved people stripping a movie back to its bare bones and summing the entire plot of the film in a bite-sized funny caption. This trend of giving unflattering descriptions to famous movies and highlight how hilariously ridiculous some movie plots are when explained without context is a timeless one and even to date people from all over the world indulge in this fun-activity from time to time.

Man lets machine hang out with his girlfriend. Machine falls in love and tries to take over the world.
