Comedian Yogi Babu has came out with a video today, making an appeal to the film producers and directors of the Tamil cine industry. The actor seems to have had an unpleasant experience after movies which he had done years ago and small roles in were marketed using his face.

The actor said in the video, "Such movies have poster releases with me alone on them and I request them not to do so. From distributors to producers to to the audience, the section which looks forward to the movie for seeing me gets disappointed..Some movies in recent times have cheated like this."

Citing a specific example, Yogi Babu went on to add, "There is a movie named Daulat which seems to have had a poster release with me alone on it. The hero of the movie is actually Sivan..My request would be to not do such things because the directors and producers who actually use me as their lead get upset too."

The comedian concluded, "My request is to use my face on the poster only if I have acted as a lead..Otherwise it feels like cheating the producer and the audience..Let us not make that mistake."
