The hype for Christopher Nolan's upcoming movie TENET has been a little bit more than usual in India and it is not even because for the first time, Bollywood talent Dimple Kapadia is making an appearance in his film. Nevertheless, Indian Nolan fans were finally ecstatic after it was announced that the TENET will be released in movie theaters of the country on July 31, 2020.  

Incidentally, India's ruling government plans its next 'Unlock' phase of the Coronavirus COVID-19 lockdown around that time, though it remains to be seen if South Indian states will also have its movie theaters opened by that time. TENET starring John David Washington and Robert Pattinson in the lead is releasing in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi besides the English language. 

In a recent EW interview, Nolan who had previously refuted TENET as a 'time-travelling movie' further stated, “This film is not a time-travel film. It deals with time and the different ways in which time can function. Not to get into a physics lesson, but inversion is this idea of material that has had its entropy inverted, so it’s running backwards through time, relative to us.”
