In what is understood to be a spiritual sequel to South Korean zombie thriller Train to Busan, Peninsula also directed by Yeon Sang Ho had its first teaser release today. The movie takes place 4 years after Train to Busan and revolves around a former soldier (played by Gang Dong-won) who has managed to escape zombie-infested South Korea but is sent back to retrieve something valuable.

The director in his early interviews about the movie has admitted that he took inspirations from films such as Mad Max, Mad Max: Fury Road, Land of the Dead and The Road.
