We had reported yesterday that actor Suriya's family had donated Rs. 10 lakh towards the relief of daily wage workers under the Film Employees Federation of South India (FEFSI). Now, it has come to light that actors Sivakarthikeyan and Vijay Sethupathi too have donated the same amount each, at a time when these workers are seeing a lull in their income due to the ongoing Corona pandemic.

It is being said that FEFSI's President, director R.K. Selvamani had evaluated that Rs. 2 Cr. rupees would be required to provide rice bags to 15,000 of their workers and actor Rajinikanth put an ease to their predicament by donating Rs. 50 lakhs which amounts to 25% of their requirement.
