Major Setback for Velayudham in the UK

Popular movie chain Cineworld UK canceled all shows of Velayutham this weekend. They issued a statement saying

"Cineworld regret that the film Velayudham will not be screened as scheduled at Cineworld cinemas. The films distribution Ayngaran has added an extra 22 minutes to the film which has not been sent to the BBFC for certification.

As a result of this Cineworld have been left with no option to remove this film from our cinemas, as we cannot screen any film that has not been issued with the appropriate certificate by the BBFC. If you have any complaints regarding this issue, please contact Ayngaran via their website."
