Ambikapathy to open big in TN

‘Raanjhanaa’ starring Dhanush and Sonam Kapoor in lead roles which hit the screens last Friday (June 21) has received good response at the Box office. The film has been declared a huge hit. The tamil version of the film ‘Ambikapathy’ will be releasing tomorrow (June 28). The film is set to open in around 250+ screens in Tamil Nadu. Dhanush had tweeted, “Raanjhanaa Tamil version releases in over 250 screens in Tamilnadu. I'm very eagerly waiting for the results.” It is the biggest ever release for a dubbed film from Hindi to Tamil.

The film is directed by Anand L Rai and AR Rahman has scored the music. The film is produced by Eros International and the producers have decided to capitalize Dhanush and Rahman's fan base in Tamil with this dubbed release.
