Another sequel for Vishal ! Mysskin narrates Thupparivaalan 2!

 

It has been known for a while now that actor Vishal who played the Indian version of Sherlock Holmes in Thupparivaalan will be starring in a sequel to the film as well. It was even suggested that Mysskin had already finalized the script for this exciting sequel which was believed to be taking off in a foreign country and travelling down to Chennai.

Latest update on this front is that Mysskin recently flew down to Turkey where Vishal is shooting with Sundar. C for a new film and the actor-director duo is said to have discussed the story for Thupparivaalan 2. This development comes at a time when Vishal is also gearing up to shoot another sequel (Irumbu Thirai 2) from May, 2019.
 

Thupparivaalan was a Sherlock Holmes-style detective drama in which Vishal played a hot-headed detective called Kaniyan Poogundran. Actor Prasanna who played Vishal's on-screen partner named Mano (like Dr. Watson from Sherlock Holmes) is expected to make a return in Thupparivaalan 2 as well.
