If one may recall, a while ago actor Ajith was appointed by the Madras Institute of Technology as their ‘Helicopter Test Pilot and UAV System Adviser' while building an advanced UAV for Medical Express-2018 UAV Challenge. In the final round that was held in Queensland Australia,Daksha, the UAV created by this Ajith mentored team created a record by flying non-stop for 6 hours and 7 minutes.

Thanking Ajith in his contribution towards the team and aiding the win, the Aerospace Research Institute of Anna University has now released a letter praising the actor. It read:
