Sarvam Thaala Mayam & Peranbu gain good reviews pre-release!

 

February 1 looks like the beginning of a new wave of 2019 in Tamil Cinema for two films Sarvam Thaala Mayam (STM) and Peranbu which are scheduled to release on that date have gotten promising reviews from their pre-release shows. 2019 already opened with a bang for Tamil cinema with respect to box-office as both Petta and Viswasam which were huge Pongal releases, set the cash registers ringing.

Now, with Rajiv Menon (STM) and director Ram (Peranbu) each giving us something to look forward to, it looks like content driven cinema too would be received with an equal amount if not more adulation.
  
While Sarvam Thaala Mayam deals with the relationship between a musical guru and his student while also reflecting on the dark side of the music industry, Peranbu on the other hand focuses on the father-daughter relationship which evolves from being dysfunctional to a close-knit one. STM has commercial elements to it while Peranbu is through and through hard-hitting.
