Hayma Malini Yugendran: Spoke against Vairamuthu 10 years ago, CJ Baskar is a terrible person

In the wake of MeToo India movement that has hit the Tamil film industry, Hayma Malini Yugendran, who is the daughter in-law-of later actor singer Malaysia Vasudevan and wife of actor-singer Yugendran, has come out with her own experience in the industry.

Hema who is a former RJ cum VJ and has worked closely with the Sun Network group and claims that she has spoken about Vairamuthu's behaviour at various stages even 10 years ago. She however maintains that she has only witnessed him speaking in an inappropriate manner (including to a 18 year old girl) and not anything else.

Hayma has also spoken about director CJ Baskar who famously directed the cult popular soap, Chitthi which starred Radhika Sarathkumar and Sivakumar in the lead. She said:

"CJ Baskar is a director in the Tamil industry..He is a terrible terrible person..I've spoken many times about him to people who were running Sun TV at that time - (Hansraj) Saxena (former COO of Sun Network) and Jyotheeswaran. I have said a lot that he is not a good person. Infact, I have asked his assistants to give me his home number so that I could talk to his wife myself..There are characters like him too.

Hayma finally extends her support to Chinmayi who she feels opened up a platform for women in the industry to speak about the wrong-doings that happened in their life. Watch her video message here.
