Julia Roberts makes web-series debut with Amazon Prime's Homecoming

One of Hollywood's most iconic actors, Julia Roberts is making her web-series debut with Sam Esmail directed Homecoming which is all set to premiere on Amazon Prime starting November 2, 2018. A trailer of the same was unveiled recently and it shows Roberts playing a therapist for soldiers named Heidi and actor Bobby Cannavale playing Colin, Heidi's shady boss.

It also shows that in 2022, Heidi is a waitress at a seafood restaurant and what landed her there is what forms the rest of Homecoming.

Homecoming is based on a radio podcast of the same name and was originally created by Eli Horowitz and Micah Bloomberg. The series had its first 10 episodes premiered at the bygone Toronto Film Festival and has since garnered a lot of acclaim.
