Lady Superstar Nayanthara is on cloud nine after delivering two consecutive hits with Kolamaavu Kokila and Imaikka Nodigal which are running successfully in the theatres. Imaikka Nodigal which hit the screens on August 30 opened to positive reviews from both critics and audience alike. The film has been doing very good business at the Box office. It has grossed more than Rs. 20 cr in Tamil Nadu and has been declared a 'hit' by the trade.

In Chennai City, the film is holding on to its top positions for the second week in a row. It has earned Rs. 4.04 crore so far with Rs. 1.18 cr from its second weekend alone. Here's the list of Top 5 films for the weekend Sep 7 - 9 at the Chennai Box Office.

Imaikka Nodigal starring Nayanthara, Atharvaa, Rashi Khanna and Anurag Kashyap in the lead roles is a psychological thriller directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu of 'Demonte Colony' fame. The film has music by Hip Hop Tamizha and is bankrolled by Cameo Films. 

On the other hand, Nayanthara's blockbuster film Kolamaavu Kokila has successfully completed 25 days theatrical run and has become the highest grossing women-centric film in Kollywood.
