Music composer Anirudh who made an impressive debut in Tollywood with Powerstar Pawan Kalyan's Angyaathavaasi has bagged his second film in Telugu. Anirudh will be scoring the music for Nani's upcoming sports based film Jersey. The film based on cricket is directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri and bankrolled by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under the banner of Sithara Entertainments. The film is expected to go on floors soon. Anirudh shared the news on his Twitter page.

Anirudh was initially signed to score the music of Jr. NTR's 'Aravindha Sametha' directed by Trivikram. However due to unknown reasons he had opted out of this big project and was later replaced by SS Thaman. Anirudh is also scoring the music for Rajinikanth's Thalaivar 165 directed by Karthik Subbaraj and Kamal Haasan's Indian 2 directed by Shankar.
