Geetha Govindam starring Vijay Devarakonda and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles directed by Parasuram continues to dominate the box office for the third week in a row. The romantic comedy film which was released on 15th August 2018, has turned out money spinner at the box office. The film has raked in Rs. 109 cr worldwide and has made a nett share of Rs. 60+ crore. The film has made 400% profit with its theatrical rights sold for Rs. 15 cr. The mega blockbuster film has turned out be a very profitable venture for all the stakeholders.

Vijay Devarakonda who grabbed the attention of many with back-to-back hits like Pelli Choopulu and Arjun Reddy has now cemented his position as a leading star in Tollywood with the phenomenal success of “Geetha Govindham”. The film is also Vijay's first film to join Rs 100 crore club. 

Geetha Govindam has been performing well at the Overseas market as well. The film has minted around $2.3 million mark at the US Box Office and is already among the Top 10 highest grossing Telugu films in USA.
