Actor Vishnu Vishal has teamed up with director Prabhu Solomon for a new project. The film shooting is already in progress. The film was speculated to be Kumki 2, the sequel to 2012 superhit film Kumki. Actor Vishnu Vishal has clarified that his upcoming film with Prabhu Solomon is not Kumki 2.

The film also features an elephant as a main character. The tri-lingual film will be shot in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi simultaneously. Vishnu Vishal will play the lead roles in the Tamil and Telugu version. Rana Daggubati is also part of the film. The team has wrapped up a schedule in Munnar which has lasted for 26 days.
The film is titled as Haathi Mere Saathi in Hindi. The title of the Tamil and Telugu version is expected to be announced soon. The film is not a remake of the 1971 hit Hindi film.
