Debutant director PS Mithran who made an impressive debut with cyber-crime thriller "Irumbu Thirai" has signed his second film. PS Mithran won accolades for his extensive research and detailing on 'information theft' which was the core theme of his debut film. The film has received good reviews and is doing good business at the Box Office as well. Vishal, Samantha and Arjun played the lead roles in Irumbu Thirai.

PS Mithran has bagged his next project which will be bankrolled by S Lakshman Kumar of 'Prince Pictures'. Karthi will be playing the lead role. The film is set to be made on a big budget. Prince Pictures has produced films like Singham 2, Mohini and is currently bankrolling Karthi's upcoming film Karthi 17

Karthi's upcoming projects include KadaiKutty Singham directed by Pandiraj and Karthi 17 directed by debutant Rajath Ravishankar.
