Director Mani Ratnam's upcoming multi-starrer film Chekka Chivantha Vaanam has been progressing at a brisk pace, so much so that the actors from the film have either completed or nearing completion of their shoot portions. The bygone weekend saw actor Arvind Swami updating us about his wrap on the film and now, actor Arun Vijay has flown to Dubai to complete his final schedule of the movie.

This leaves Aditi Rao Hydari, Simbu, Aishwarya Rajesh, Vijay Sethupathi and Jyothika who too are expected to be wrapping soon. Chekka Chivantha Vaanam is said to be socio-political drama with Vijay Sethupathi playing a cop, Simbu playing an Engineer and Arvind Swami playing a politician. Arjun Vijay plays antagonist in the movie, which is  produced by Madras Talkies and will be presented by Lyca Productions.
