Exclusive - Kalavani director Sarkunam to make a sports movie!

Earlier this year before the TFPC Strike erupted, Kalavani director Sarkunam was in the news for two reasons - his Jungle-genre film with Madhavan had to be delayed owing to Madhavan's injury and post announcing Kalavani 2 (K2) with Vemal and Oviya, Sarkunam found himself in a fix after the original producer objected to the director using his title or even advertising his film as a sequel to it. While not much is known about the status of either of these films, we have learnt exclusively that Sarkunam is now all set to go ahead with a brand new script.
 
According to sources, this new project will be of sports genre and is said to focus on Kabaddi. The team has also apparently approached Raj Kiran for the role and if the actor gives the nod, they will be all set to roll.
