Daler Mehendi gets 2 years in Jail & Immediate Bail in Human Trafficking Case

Bollywood's once famous pop-singer Daler Mehendi was in for a shock today when he was convicted by a local court of Patiala for a 2003 Human trafficking case. The 50-year old was sentenced to 2 years in Jail and was taken into custody by the Punjab Police; however minutes after the conviction the singer and elder brother of Bollywood's famous singer Mika Singh was taken out on bail!

Daler Mehendi and his now late elder brother Shamsher Singh were levelled in this Human trafficking case after charges of them "dropping off" people in the US and promising to migrate illegal money were filed by dozens of people. In 2006, the Patiala police had discharged the charges but the court upheld citing enough evidence for further investigation.

Daler Mehendi rose to promince in he 90s after his smashing hits Tunak Tunak Tun, Bolo Tara Rara, Sade Naal Rahogae To, Har Taraf Tera Jalwa and the like. Keep watching this space for further updates on the same.
