'Franka Sollata' is a gossip show on the popular Sun Music channel, hosted by two female anchors. Recently, when they were talking about the upcoming Suriya - KV Anand film and the prospect of Amitabh Bachchan in a key role in this film, they went overboard trolling Suriya's height distastefully.

They gossiped about how he was required to sport heels to match Anushka's height in the Singam movies and that he'll be required to stand on a stool to match Amitabh. One of the anchors went on to say that it would be better if they shoot all the scenes with the actors seated. This entire segment was in very poor taste and one wonders how the folks at Sun Music let this pass and aired it so irresponsibly. Having fun at the expense of someone's physical attribute is definitely not done! And, doing this on a show in a leading TV channel is sheer stupidity!

The entire industry is up against this video now and many leading celebrities (associated and not associated with Suriya), industry trackers and fans have vented it out on social media, asking for an unconditional apology from the channel and the 2 anchors. We have to see how this issue pans out today.
