Vetrimaaran's Annanukku Jai is a political satire

Earlier today, multiple National award winning director-producer Vetrimaaran unveiled the first look of his upcoming venture, Annaukku Jai. Written and directed by Rajkumar, the film has actor Dinesh playing the lead and is produced by Vetrimaaran's Grass Roots Film Company.

While one poster showed the evolution of the lead character from an ordinary man to a politician, the other had him reading a book about becoming a chief minister in 30 days. Going by the posters, the film sure seems to be a political satire. With Mahima Nambiar as the female lead, Annanukku Jai has music by Aroll Corelli, cinematography by Vishnu Rangasamy and edits by G.B. Venkatesh.
