Comedian Alwa Vasu's health gets critical

According to his wife Amudha, comic actor Alwa Vasu's health has gone into super critical condition and he has surpassed all levels of curable treatment. The doctors at the Meenakshi Mission hospital, Madurai where Vasu was admitted for issues pertaining to his liver, are said to have informed Amudha of the same and have asked her to take him back home. 
Vasu, originally hails from Madurai and went on to be known as Alwa Vasu, after his famous enactment of "giving Alwa (the sweet dish)" to actor Sathyaraj in the film Amaidhipadai. He has acted in over 900 films as a comedian and has been seen sharing the most screen space with comic actor Vadivelu. Apparently, the actor had been taking treatment at the said hospital for over a few months now and the recent developments in his health have left many fans and colleagues in a state of shock.
