It was a day filled with emotions running high for many Superstar fans, as after several delays he finally obliged to meet his fans for a meet, greet and click photographs event. Rajinikanth arrived at the Raghavendra Kalyana Mandapam amidst deafening noise and captured the charm just as usual. He touched various parts of his life, his drinking habits in the past, gave a lot of credit to Muthuram sir for changing his life. He also added how his movies over the last few years have not been performing well and did not want to meet his fans at those juncture, but eventually Muthuraman and many others insisted.

Superstar’s speech was more about clarification, the cancellation of many events, his silence over various circumstances and especially his stance on Politics. Extending support to DMK-TMC alliance as one of his biggest mistakes, he said this snowballed many people around him to use his name without consent during elections. Every time election is around the corner his name is dragged into it and he had to clarify over and over again that his support is not for anyone and cannot be influenced. He ended on two strong familiar notes; If at all God shows him the door to Politics he will never allow Wrong People to join him and advised all his fans to curb Social ill habits of drinking and smoking, rather spend more time with family.
