Karthi confirms doing Mani Ratnam's film after Kashmora

Post the success of OK Kanmani, Mani Ratnam was about to start a multi-starer flick, but due to date issues, frequent cast changes, Mani Ratnam had shelved that multi-starrer project and he started working on an entirely new script. Actor Karthi, in an interview to a leading daily, has confirmed that he is playing the lead role in Mani Ratnam's next and Sai Pallavai will be playing the female lead role. He will start working on this project from June after completing Kashmora.

Mani Ratnam has advised Karthi to tone down a little to be apt for the role. Karthi has also trashed the rumours that he will be playing dual roles in the film and revealed that the film will have Mani Ratnam's signature all over it. Expect an official announcement from the ace director soon.
