Its not easy to make a movie where people will remember the character(s) name even after years and what Mohan Raja has achieved with Thani Oruvan is introducing such characters Siddharth Abimanyu & Mithran. Im not sure about Mithran, but this badass SIDDHARTH ABIMANYU going to be one of its kind. The cool villain who never shouts for anything but sometimes with a evil smile does his job done. The movie has equal space for Good and Evilness. What makes Thani oruvan even more special is the psychological treatment for the cat and mouse game between the two characters than a real dishyum dishyum.
Im not sure if any other actor would have accepted to play a role where the villain has chances to outscore him, that should be the trust Ravi had on Raja, or it should be an intention to give a good product Another department which excelled and gives lifeline to these characters are Subha's Dialogues - Sharp as a knife, their dialogues takes the movie into whole new level. Hip Hop Tamizha's background score elevates the movie. Over all Thani Oruvan is an intelligent work from Raja and team
