Un Samayal Arayil - The Right Ingredients in Incorrect Proportions !!!

The film starts of promisingly and the characters that get introduced seem interesting and unique. There are fine sparks throughout. But the film never takes off as a whole. It is like we have to wait in a queue each time to taste a delicious food.(more)

Un Samayal Araiyil - Sweet and sour

Known for his signature style and touch, Prakash Raj adds his subtle touches to this recipe, in his direction. Though all scenes have been captured colourfully and in all beauty of screenplay, the story is fairly predictable after certain progress in the film. (more)

A movie about two insecure people discovering security via food but with the overall charm of romance missing.

One day, he receives a call from Gowri, a dubbing artiste in her mid-thirties, who mistakes Kalidasan's number to be that of a hotel'...(more)

Watch Un Samayal Arayil for Prakash Raj's light-hearted pathos

One of the biggest banes of Indian cinema has been miscasting or stereotyping. How often have we seen a fine actor like Prakash Raj being reduced to caricature-like villainous roles. People seem to have forgotten his brilliant portrayal of an impoverished silk weaver in Kanchivaram, a part he infuse...(more)
