Vijay 59 begins with pooja

Vijay's upcoming movie with director Atlee of Raja Rani fame, has began today with a formal Pooja. Actor Vijay, Prabhu, directors Atlee, Ranjith, Muthuraman, producer Kalaipuli S Danu and whole crew of 'Vijay 59' had participated in the Pooja function. Speaking in the Event, Kalaipuli S Danu revealed that Vijay's 59th movie will be as special as Thuppaki. 

Amy Jackson plays the leading lady opposite Vijay. Director Atlee had revealed that actress Meena's daughter Nainika and Ace director Mahendiran will be making their acting debut in this movie. While Vijay has been crooning a song in all of his recent films including Puli, Atlee has said that he is yet to decide about roping Vijay to croon a song in the movie. The movie is said to be a family entertainer. The shoot for the movie will begin from July.
