Ranveer learns Kalaripayattu for Bajirao Mastani

Ranveer Singh trained in one of India's oldest forms of martial arts, the Kalaripayattu for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani.

The training is done near the set, where Ranveer comes and practices every day after the shooting of the film.

The film narrates the story of the Maratha Peshwa Baji Rao and his second wife Mastani. Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Priyanka Chopra star in lead roles, with Tanvi Azmi portraying a supporting role.

Ranveer and Deepika playing the titular roles and Priyanka Chopra playing Bajirao's first wife Kashibai.

“Bajirao Mastani” scheduled for release on 25 December 2015.
