Priyanka learns Peshwa Marathi for Bajirao Mastani

Priyanka Chopra is currently busy shooting for Bajirao Mastani. The actress is training with a linguistic expert to study and understand the finer nuances of Marathi language in the 17th century.

This is authentic Peshwa Marathi and the actress has a coach for her always on the set. The words in Peshwa Marathi are very different and difficult so Priyanka had to take a 15 day coaching.

Bajirao Mastani is a period romance film based on the love story of Peshwar Baji Rao and his second wife Mastani. Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra play the lead roles. Ranveer is playing the historical character of Bajirao. Deepika Padukone plays Bajirao's second wife Mastani while Priyanka Chopra is his first wife Kashibai. The film is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
