Rajinikanth gets a Million in Twitter

After Superstar Rajinikanth making a viral entry in twitter on 5th may, he has reached 1 million followers. Thalaivar had previously shattered all Indian twitter record, by getting 215,000 followers on the day 1 (Reference: Rajinikanth Shatters all Indian Twitter records). After the initial hype subsided, the pace has been much slower than what was initially anticipated since Rajinikanth has not been active on twitter since May 23. 

Rajinikanth joining Twitter was a promotional act for Kochadaiiyan

When Rajinikanth joined twitter, it took everybody by surprise since it is not consistent with the star's image since he has always shied away from media and public attention. Rajinikanth in his recorded speech claimed that he joined twitter to keep in touch with fans. Contrary to the promise made by Rajini to his fans, it is now evident that twitter entry was a promotional act for Kochadaiiyaan.

After 1 million fans and with only 7 tweets and deafening silence during the last 6 months on his twitter page, can we expect Rajinikanth to resurface again on twitter for doing the Lingaa promotions?
