Yogalakshmi, who became a household name through her role as Teju in JioHotstar's Heart Beat, is returning to the streamer with a new series titled The Court. The title and first look were unveiled on Monday, with Yogalakshmi expected to play a lawyer named Yazhini in the series.

Her Heart Beat character Teju, which wrapped with the second season, had become a social media phenomenon through song edits and reels, eventually opening the door to film opportunities. She went on to star in Tourist Family and has since built a strong pipeline — including an untitled reunion with director Abishan Jeevinth, featuring Kannada superstar Shivarajkumar and Shivani Nagaram, and a significant role in Vetri Maaran's Arasan alongside Silambarasan TR.
