Director Jithu Madhavan has shared a brief update on his upcoming film with Suriya, saying the team has not yet decided how to present the project to audiences. Speaking to Behindwoods, Jithu said neither the first look nor the title has been locked, and that he would rather speak about it when the time is right.
Addressing speculation about Suriya playing a police officer, the director was relaxed about it. "I take no pressure in portraying Suriya sir as a cop, and neither does my team. We are cool about the subject," he said.
Tentatively referred to as Suriya 47, the film is produced under Suriya and Jyotika's Zhagaram Studios banner and also stars Nazriya Nazim, Naslen, Anandraj and John Vijay. Sushin Shyam, who collaborated with Jithu on Aavesham, composes the music. Production began in December last year.
