Anirudh Ravichander's wedding to Kavya Maran, CEO of Sunrisers Hyderabad, has been confirmed by a family member for the first time. Actor and dramatist Y Gee Mahendra, Anirudh's uncle, revealed the news in an interview with KPTV, saying congratulations are in order as the composer is set for "a very big wedding."

"From what I've heard, they are going to get married. That girl is not just another ordinary girl. She has the capacity to handle such a big team. Both of them should get together and indulge in musical business," Mahendra said.

The news comes over a year after Anirudh himself dismissed the speculation as rumours. Kavya Maran, daughter of Kalanithi Maran, heads not just SRH but also Sunrisers Eastern Cape and Sunrisers Leeds, and serves as executive director of Sun TV Network Limited. Wedding details are yet to be announced.

Anirudh currently has an extensive lineup including Rajinikanth's Jailer 2 and Dharman, Vijay's Jana Nayagan, Shah Rukh Khan's King and Allu Arjun-Atlee's AA23, among others.
