Vijay Antony has agreed to sing a song for VJ Siddhu's directorial debut Dayangaram, fulfilling a promise he made a year ago. The confirmation came during a YouTube interaction between VJ Siddhu, Harshath Khan and Vijay Antony, held to promote the latter's upcoming film Nooru Saami. When Siddhu brought up the request, half expecting it to have slipped Vijay Antony's mind, the actor-composer assured him that he remembered their conversation and would make it happen.

Dayangaram, said to be based on VJ Siddhu's own life story, also stars Natty Subramaniam in a lead role, with actor-politician Namitha confirmed for a cameo. Ishari Ganesh produces the film under the Vels Film International banner. The technical team includes music by Siddhu Kumar, cinematography by Dinesh Krishnan, and editing by Pradeep E Ragav. The film's first shooting schedule wrapped in November 2025.

Meanwhile, Vijay Antony's Nooru Saami, which reunites him with director Sasi after Pichaikkaran, is set to release on June 19. The film stars Swasika opposite him, along with Ajay Dhishan, Lijomol Jose, Karunas and others in key roles.
