The makers of Suriya's Karuppu have dropped the film's third single, Karuppa Kooda Va, ahead of the May 14 release. Composed by Sai Abhyankkar, the track features his vocals alongside VM Mahalingam, with lyrics penned by Pa Vijay. The video is a montage of highlights from the recently held Madurai audio launch.

Karuppu is directed by RJ Balaji and features Suriya alongside Trisha, Indrans, Natty, Mansoor Ali Khan, Swasika, Sshivada, Anagha Maya Ravi, and Supreeth Reddy. The technical crew includes cinematographer GK Vishnu, editor R Kalaivanan, production designer Arun Venjaramoodu, and stunt choreographers Anbariv and Vikram Mor. Vishnu Edavan and Arun Srinivasan have also contributed lyrics to the soundtrack

The film is produced by SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabu under Dream Warrior Pictures, with Aravendaraj Baskaran as executive producer.
