Jolliya Iruntha Oruthan, marking the reunion of Jiiva and director M Rajesh after Siva Manasula Sakthi, has completed production, the makers announced.

Backed by Malik Streams Corporation, the film is expected to hit theatres this summer, as earlier hinted by Jiiva. The actor had also revealed that Siva Manasula Sakthi could see a re-release as part of the film’s promotions.

Also referred to as JIO, the film marks Jiiva’s 47th outing as a lead actor and stars Ivana as the female lead. While plot details remain under wraps, the film is said to be a romantic entertainer blending love, heartbreak, and humour, in the vein of Rajesh’s earlier works.

The film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, reuniting with Rajesh after Siva Manasula Sakthi, with cinematography by M Sukumar and editing by Ashish Joseph.More updates on the film’s release date are expected soon.
