Jana Nayagan, starring Vijay, was screened yesterday in Mumbai by the revising committee of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).

The committee noted that the film contains political content, and with the Model Code of Conduct currently in force, it has been referred to the Election Commission of India for review. A certification will be issued once the EC clears the film.

The movie, directed by H. Vinoth, features Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Mamitha Baiju, Prakash Raj, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Priyamani. Music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, with KVN Productions producing.
