Dhanush 55, the upcoming project starring Dhanush and directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, is currently in production, with the makers keeping major details tightly under wraps. Adding to the growing buzz, music composer Sai Abhyankkar has revealed that he is “cooking a special album” for the film, promising a soundtrack that blends energetic dance numbers with romantic tracks.

The film features an ensemble cast including Mammootty, Sai Pallavi and Sreeleela. Sai Pallavi reunites with Dhanush after Maari 2, while Mammootty returns to Tamil cinema after his acclaimed performance in Peranbu.

Though the plot remains undisclosed, the director had earlier hinted that the story will focus on unsung heroes who exist within society. The film is being produced by Wunderbar Films in association with RTake Studios, with more updates expected in the coming months.
