Industry buzz from Malayalam circles suggests that Mohanlal is almost finalized to play a key role in Ajith Kumar’s upcoming film AK64. Actress Sreeleela is also reportedly part of the project, with music composed by Rockstar Anirudh. The film will be directed by Adhik Ravichandran, marking his second collaboration with Ajith after Good Bad Ugly.

Ajith Kumar, who delivered two major releases last year — Vidaamuyarchi and Good Bad Ugly — is currently taking a brief break to focus on international racing commitments. Meanwhile, preparations for AK64 are underway, with the film’s shoot expected to commence soon.
